Faerie of The Week

New to Whimsy's Muse this year is our "Faerie of The Week"
Our family at Whimsy's Muse will pick a "Faerie of the Week" portrait each week of the 2008 Texas Renaissance Festival. This portrait session will by showcased on our myspace site: (www.myspace.com/whimsysmuse) At the end of the 2008 Festival you can vote on your favorite faerie portrait. The session with the most votes will become a magical sample for the 2009 Texas Renaissance Festival.

The first weekend of the 2008 Texas Renaissance Festival was full of magic, mischief, and merriment.

and our New stage with the "Deep in The Forrest" theme. It continues to amaze
patrons and fairies, new and returning. Thank you to everyone who brightens our door and our days.

2nd in Renaissance Magazine wedding photo contest.

Thats right! Check us out in the May wedding issue of Renaissance Magazine. Bryan & Nicole Poppenhusen's wedding portraits (taken by us) were entered and although we knew we were finalists we didn't find out we came in second until our copy of the magazine came in the mail. This makes three magaizines our work from this wedding has benn features in. Thanks for the opportunity to shoot a truely beautiful wedding, Bryan and Nicole - we had a blast! Spiderwick Chronicles

Just got back from seeing the new movie Spiderwick Chronicles and had to let everyone know I found it truely entertaining. The movie had some great fantasy creatures. It didn't make my top ten fantasy movies, but I would recommend it to others.
